Open Air Ministries Philadelphia has a very simple mission statement.
It is based on Jesus' call to Peter, Andrew, James and John.
Then He said to them, "Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men."
Like Jesus and the early apostles, we are involved in fishing for men.
Our primary calling in Open Air Ministries is to do the work of evangelism.
Our second responsibility is spending a great deal of our time making fishers of men.
As Jesus trained the twelve and they in turn trained others, so we also train people each
year in how to share their faith.
Where do we work?
~ On the streets of Philadelphia
~ On various college campuses
~ On the boardwalk in NJ or DE or MD during the summer
~ At Mardi Gras
~ At various events where we can share the gospel with others
